President Donald Trump’s administration faces deadlines on Monday to tell two federal judges whether it will comply with court orders that it continue to fund SNAP, the nation’s biggest food aid program, using contingency funds during the government shutdown. Prout captured the Rhode Island Interscholastic League Division 2 girls tennis championship Saturday afternoon at Slater Park, defeating Rogers 4-0 in the state final. WUN’s Justin Walker was there and has the story and photo gallery.

The Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority will install a weigh-in-motion system on Route 138 near the Conanicus Avenue and East Shore Road ramps, requiring temporary lane closures through Thursday, Nov. 6. Read more
