🗓️ On this day in 1969, the Woodstock Music and Art Fair opened in upstate New York; more than 460,000 people attended the three-day festival, which would become a watershed event in American music and culture.

🚔 Two people have been arrested in connection with a road rage incident that occurred Monday evening on Thames Street, according to a press release issued Thursday by the Newport Police Department.

🐴 Historic horse-drawn carriages return to the streets of Newport beginning today for A Weekend of Coaching.
