It’s possible that the speed camera on Ruggles Ave. may be staying put for now, following details that it would cost approximately $90,000 to remove it. A resolution that will be put forward by Councilors Holder, Ceglie, and Napolitano next Wednesday asks “for a reconsideration of the vote of approval and amend Councilor Carlin’s resolution to allow the speed camera to remain on Ruggles Ave. until a decision is made on whether the camera stays or is removed, while at the same time, continue to have the community meetings as approved prior.” Resolution (Reminder - This speed camera is not issuing tickets or citations).
