Good Morning, Newport!
On this day in 2012, What’sUpNewp was launched! It has been a heck of a 13-year ride, and many of you have been along the entire time!
Thank you to our loyal readers, local advertisers, and Press Club Members who help keep this dream alive. This local independent online news thing is not for the faint of heart, and you all make it all worth it.
Of course, thanks to our incredible team of nearly a dozen contributors, which Frank Prosnitz and Ken Abrams lead. Frank and Ken have been with What’sUpNewp for a long time (8-10 years). Their professionalism, dedication, and friendship have been critical in helping us get to this milestone.
If you haven’t already, become a Press Club Member - it will help us make our 14th year our best one yet!
Thank you for everything,
~ Ryan Belmore | Owner & Publisher
